THAILAND > At Kindred Spirit Elephant Sanctuary, they are looking for a fluent English–Spanish speaker to join their team and help shape how they work with elephants and their local community. Based in a remote rural village in Thailand, this one year contract combines education, guest experience, programme development, communication and social media. Our pick here for JAB readers is the entry level role for a production runner to assist with a variety of practical tasks during studio and show days.

AT SEA > Do you have a passion for whales, dolphins, and science communication? ORCA is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their team of ocean conservationists, onboard DFDS Global sailing the North Sea from Newcastle (UK) or IJmuiden (Netherlands). Apply by March 2.
⭐️National Whale And Dolphin Watch Assistants
UK > Each year, the Sea Watch Foundation seeks national whale and dolphin watch assistants. This position will suit volunteers who have a strong interest in marine conservation and recognise the importance of educating and raising awareness by involving the public. ⭐️Sustainable Stay Helpers Wanted On K’gari/Fraser Island
AUSTRALIA > Here’s another chance to live on the world’s largest sand island and be part of a small, fun loving, eco-conscious team of adventure enthusiasts. You’ll live in Drop Bear Adventures’ beachfront team house, help with the day to day running of their tours and guest stays, and explore the island with them. PORTUGAL, ITALY & TUNISIA > Oasis Kite is looking to lure a kite instructor to Sicily for a paid role beginning in June/July, and a breakfast & excursion host to Djerba. The host will start the mornings with fresh coffee and good vibes, working around four hours a day for accommodation and meals, plus plenty of time to kite (or finally learn).
In the Algarve, Sagres Sun Stay hostel and surfcamp will provide accommodation from March onwards to their teamers, who assist with hostel tasks like housekeeping, meals and social media from March onwards.
