⭐️Help Out At An Ayahuasca Retreat In The Amazon
PERU > Inti Eco Lodge is an ayahuasca retreat four hours from Iquitos (two by road and two hours by private boat). They take on volunteers year round to help with things like permaculture gardening and agroforestry, lodge maintenance and upkeep, and cooking vegetarian community meals. They occasionally post details of volunteering with them on their social media, including the fact that dormitory accommodation is provided, but they request €6 per day to cover meals.
⭐️Work At International Camp Sancelso
ITALY > The International Camp Sancelso runs from June 21 to August 8 this year in Castione della Presolana. The counsellors at the English language summer camps for children and teens are native English speakers, plus foreigners and Italians with Celta, IELTS, TOEFL or similar certifications.
⭐️Volunteer Life Guards Wanted
COSTA RICA > If you’re a certified lifeguard - regardless of nationality - fluent in English and interested in volunteer work, Santa Teresa Lifeguards offer accommodation, meals, and ongoing training in exchange for your participation as a lifeguard on the beach and during international tournaments such as the WSL, ISA, and ALAS. They began in 2015, when a group of foreign lifeguards organised to patrol the beach during high tourist seasons after three drowning deaths locally.
⭐️Salsa, TEFL And Accommodation In Ibague
COLOMBIA > Once upon a time, fluent English speakers able to stay at least one month were able to rock up to Connections English Institute, in Ibague, and get free accommodation and a meal each day in exchange for teaching conversational classes in English. A free Spanish class was also offered.
In 2026, changes have been made. Their programme is no longer just volunteering. It is now billed as a complete cultural and educational exchange that blends teaching, travel, language learning, and professional training.
They spell out all the details of their volunteer programme on their website, including that there is a US$295 fee for the first four weeks and $75 for each additional week. Along with the accommodation, a meal, and Spanish lessons, this fee now brings a mini TEFL course, airport pick up, salsa and tropical music lessons.

Their efforts are focused on golden mantled howler monkeys, including helping them to negotiate the forest canopy in a rapidly developing area without getting electrocuted. Accommodation onsite and basic food are provided to mature, hardworking, and flexible fast learners, preferably aged 25+, and able to stay three months.
