UAE > Looking for some extra work between the seasons? The Adventure Centre has announced that it is offering short term contracts from March 23 to May 10 in Hatta, where an array of activities is offered across three sites to international school groups.
⭐️Another Go For Turtles And Wallabies
AUSTRALIA > We’ve said it before, but Sea turtles AND wallabies? Yes. Please. Working for a living AND paying good money to do so? Nope. Not at Quoin Island Turtle Rehabilitation Centre. This sort of opportunity is usually in the gift, if you paid a lot of money for the gift, of voluntourism businesses. The medical clinic and rescue and rehabilitation centre for sick and injured sea turtles off the coast of Queensland only takes on a small number of live in volunteers per year, and we were disappointed when we checked recently that we’d missed them recruiting back in November. But a couple of cancellations mean they need two more volunteers, beginning in April and July.

UK > Wild Futures can host up to ten volunteers at a time, all year round, in shared accommodation at The Monkey Sanctuary in Cornwall, asking only for a £40 per week donation to help cover the costs of their volunteer programme. ⭐️Saving Wildcats
UK > Could you be Saving Wildcats’ next enthusiastic volunteer? Saving Wildcats is a partnership project led by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS), dedicated to Scottish wildcat conservation and recovery, aiming to prevent the extinction of wildcats in Scotland by breeding and releasing them into the wild. You would assist the field team with GPS radio tracking of released collared wildcats, camera trap checks, and handling and analysing camera trap survey data. Apply by February 23.

⭐️Applications For The 2026 TEIP Program Are Open
POLAND > The Teaching English in Poland (TEIP) program invites American volunteers - from college students to retirees and everything in between - to teach English to Polish and Ukrainian students during summer camps in picturesque regions of Poland. You need to pay a US$125 non refundable registration fee and your airfare to Poland, but host camps pay for all your basic needs once you’re in Poland: lodging, food, tours, entrance fees, transportation, etc. March 2 is the application deadline this year.

USA > JAB got quite excited when we saw an ad for The Unbeetable Experience, and even remained a little giddy once we remembered we don’t own an RV, and are neither American nor have a work visa, all of which are important for taking part. Recently, they were at the Tampa RV Show connecting with workampers and sharing what the sugar beet harvest experience is all about. Which is, essentially, a good way for people who live in homes with wheels to earn good money with their friends in a short period of time.

THAILAND > A six month commitment is required for this volunteer position with the Association for Development of Environmental Education and Participation (DEEP) in northern Thailand. Open to native English speakers, this pilot scheme combines English learning with environmental education.
⭐️Coral Conservation And Reef Restoration Internship
USA > Both land based and dive track positions are available with Coral Restoration Foundation. Applicants must already be eligible to work in the US for these four month long full time volunteer positions. The internship includes an educational stipend to support living costs in the Florida Keys. Apply by February 27. UK > Banjo Beale and the Boathouse Ulva sound like a band that would be told to fuck off when introducing themselves to a crowd of six at their first few dive venue gigs. But those days would quickly recede into the past thanks to Banjo’s social media savvy.
Banjo, the real one, not of JAB’s imagination, and his husband’s search for a couple of people - a chef (or experienced cook) and a brilliant front of house person - to join their kitchen on a small island (population 16) off Mull has been picked up by The Daily Record and attracted thousands of likes. Because of this, we suspect this position has gone, but if so, and this appeals, follow their social media and get in touch early next year when they’re sure to need the same again.
⭐️Be A Captain For The Season And Get Sent Off (To The Isle Of Wight)
UK > James Rowley recently took to pitching seasonal captain roles by the sea on the Isle of Wight to ski seasonaires and experienced hospitality professionals in the Ski Season Jobs 25/26 - French & Swiss Alps Facebook group.
Of no relevance whatsoever to this, when our mouse hovered over the link to James’ personal Facebook profile, it revealed him to be a Tottenham Hotspur supporter of 33 years and ten months standing. James took a photo of this tree and shared it on his Instagram. The tree is a Spurs fan, too.
