FRANCE & SPAIN > KelAir Campotel’s recruitment for 2026 should have opened by the time you read this. They are an Irish family run tour operator specialising in campsite holidays. ⭐️European Waterways Is Hiring Now
EUROPE > European Waterways recently announced their new brochure for the 2026/27 season, which we took as an invitation to drop by their recruitment page to see if they had begun recruiting for the roles they’ll need to staff their river cruise holidays next year. As of December 1, they have officially begun their search for tour guides, hosts and chefs jobs in France and Scotland.
⭐️Hotel Entertainers Wanted For The Summer In The Greek Islands
GREECE > Jobs By Nordics helps people from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, and Germany get some warmth in their bones by finding them exciting jobs abroad – especially in sunny places like Spain, Greece, and Cyprus. ⭐️Last Minute Vacancy In La Tania
FRANCE > Due to a last minute drop out, Pub Le Ski Lodge is searching for a chef de partie to complete their kitchen team this winter.
⭐️Snowboxx 2026
FRANCE > Avoriaz will once again be hosting the Snowboxx end of the ski season festival. Next year it will be held from March 14 to 21, though reps and volunteers should expect to work a few days on either side, too. At the moment, we can’t find much up to date information on working or volunteering at the event - googling “working at snowboxx” suggests JAB as an authority on this, and we already know they have no clue - but a form under the work with us heading has appeared on Snowboxx’s website, and volunteering enquiries are taken via rep@mainstagefestivals.com. Mainstage Festivals also organise events in Albania, just in case when filling in the form you’re confused why it asks about speaking Albanian.
⭐️Musical Youth
AT SEA > When they head out towards the ocean, we don’t know if Carnival UK’s boats will be passing the Netherlands, or which side if they do, but the parent company of P&O Cruises and Cunard currently has two very different positions for which recruiting will end in December.
First up, they need talented and experienced “reading” musicians to join their onboard house orchestras. To be successful, you should hold a musical performance degree or have at least grade 8 Royal College of Music certification, or equivalent industry experience. Applications are open until December 12.
They are also seeking seasonal youth staff to support the delivery of activities for children up to the age of 12 in their onboard playrooms. Applications close December 19. Permanent positions for playroom staff and supervising teens are also available, but applications for these close very soon, on December 5.
⭐️Carnival Cadetships
AT SEA > Carnival UK has three cadetships on offer at the moment: deck, electro-technical, and engineering. This chance to train while you earn - with tuition fees fully covered - is open to UK residents with UK or EEA citizenship, holding four GCSEs (or Scottish equivalents), including Maths, English, and Science.
⭐️Join The Camp Suisse Team In Summer 2026
SWITZERLAND > Like stereotypical Swiss clockwork, Camp Suisse is featuring once again in our December issue. We have changed a digit in our post title from last to indicate they are searching for ambitious, highly motivated individuals to join them again as activity leaders, language teachers and pastoral care leaders, and in support roles such as catering and administration. COSTA RICA > Now in possession of a shiny new programs coordinator, Wild Sun Rescue Center has once again dropped by the Volunteer With Animals group (private group) to entice wildlife dreamers to their rescue centre dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of animals such as howler monkeys, capuchins, and many other species in their care on the Nicoya Peninsula. Full term volunteers commit to 12 weeks. There’s no programme fee, and onsite accommodation costs just $60 per week.

WORLDWIDE > The JENZA travel group - AKA the bit of BUNAC for people that don’t want to live in the woods - has a scholarship designed to support 18 to 30s from lower income backgrounds and under represented groups to take part in one of their working holiday, internship, or summer USA programmes. They provide either full or partial financial assistance towards their programme costs. December 8 is the last day for applications.
⭐️Applications To Be A British Council English Language Assistant In 2026-27 Will Open In The Autumn?
WORLDWIDE > Autumn ends on November 30 according to the meteorological calendar, which divides the year into four equal seasons for tracking purposes. Alternatively, astronomical autumn ends on the winter solstice, which varies each year but typically falls around December 21. The British Council must use this latter and later definition because we’ve been checking all autumn, which JAB considers to be when the leaves fall off the trees (check), and it isn’t as cold as winter (debatable), for their English language assistant positions to open. At the time of writing, with four hours left of November, they still haven’t, but they surely must soon.
⭐️US Teaching Assistants For Austrian Secondary Schools
AUSTRIA > University graduates from the United States are invited to live and work in Austria for a school year, teaching English in secondary schools across the country. The application period is open until January 15.
⭐️English Teacher Required In Fuente Palmera, Cordoba
SPAIN > looking for an English teacher with previous experience teaching young children and teenagers, and a working knowledge of Spanish, to start in January 2026. Candidates must be willing to commit to the job until the end of the academic year, but ideally, they are looking for teachers who can make a long term commitment to the role. ⭐️Join Hundreds Of Summer Camp Tutors For This TEFL Teaching Experience
ITALY > Every summer in Italian schools nationwide, hundreds of EFL summer camps for Italian children are organised by Bell Beyond in Italian schools nationwide. Bell recruits native and native level English speaking tutors from across the world, who are mainly students or recent graduates between the ages of 18 and 30, although applications are accepted from all ages. WORLDWIDE > Casting for Channel 4’s Tempting Fortune was recently reposted. If greenlit, the new series will be filmed in a distant paradise.
⭐️Greek Island Cat Care
GREECE > A Greek island is not a Greek island without cats, says Rowena Harding, who sends us a postcard of the cats of Aegina and the stories that go with them. If you live on the island, like dogs as well as much as cats, and would like to volunteer, Animal Protection Aegina Agistri needs help with walking and grooming dogs, and with all sorts of small repairs at the shelter. APAA is also working to set up a programme for international volunteers. Contact them if interested. In Attica, not far away on the mainland, this cat sanctuary says animal carers are welcome to join them too.
⭐️Help Connie Help Dogs
SRI LANKA > Connie, an animal lover from Germany, took on the first volunteer earlier this year at her shelter in Sumatra, but she recently said her more established shelters in Sri Lanka - a big dog shelter in Trincomalee, and a small dog and cat shelter in Balapetiya - are always looking for engaged volunteers to support them. Volunteers earn accommodation by helping four to five hours a day, five days a week.
⭐️English Teacher And Activity Leader For A Language Immersion Summer Camp Near Berlin
GERMANY > Applicants should be available for staff training in Berlin from June 16 to 20, and for at least five weeks of the summer to land this job with Alpadia Language Schools. A weekly summer salary of between €720 and €810 is paid, along with travel reimbursement and room and board.

FRANCE > AliKats has been crossing off their winter season vacancies with a big pen and marking them as filled, but they still need weekend housekeepers for the 2025/26 winter season and for next summer too.
⭐️Ski Miquel Is Still Hiring
FRANCE, AUSTRIA & SWITZERLAND > Ski Miquel began their recruitment for the coming ski season ages ago, but their website states the following jobs are still open for winter 2025/26: chef, chef de partie, bar & ski host, and chalet host. Applicants should have an EU passport or the right to work already in place.
⭐️Native Level English Speaking Camp Counsellors Wanted In Germany
GERMANY > Fokus Camps will have ten camp locations around Germany next year, needing their fill of camp counsellors. Founded by a former camp counsellor, the English language summer camps will be wanting enthusiastic, energetic native level English speakers able to run sports and activities programmes for two to six week placements. Last year, they had staff, mostly aged 20 to 30, coming from the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Free room and board are provided along with wages.

FRANCE > Most of the positions listed on their employment page have been filled, but as of last week, Alpine Elements were still advertising for a night porter to join them in Morzine. This position is only open to EU passport holders or those who already have the right to work in France.

FRANCE > Alpine Fleet is looking for resort dispatchers to start urgently for their shared and private transfer service from Geneva Airport.
⭐️Consensio Is Still Advertising Some Ski Season Vacancies
FRANCE > The teams that will be behind Consensio’s collection of luxury catered ski chalets in Val d’Isère, Méribel and Courchevel have officially begun their pre-season preparations - from wine and cocktail training to breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner trials - but we are still seeing advertisements for their remaining ski season positions.
⭐️Skibound Club Hotels Standby Applications
FRANCE > Skibound have their fill of ski reps, catering staff, general assistants and the other staff they need to keep their three club hotels in the French Alps ticking over, but standby applications are regularly reviewed before and during the season just in case someone breaks a leg or tumbles over a mountain.
⭐️Early Years Qualified Practitioner Wanted In Val d’Isère
FRANCE > Although Neilson is a couple of months into their summer 2026 recruitment cycle for their Mediterranean beach clubs, over the weekend they were advertising an outstanding winter vacancy in Val d’Isère for an early years practitioner. Experience, a level 3 childcare qualification and an EU passport are required.
⭐️Nannies Find Child Care Jobs In The Alps
FRANCE > Alpine Child Care are looking for self employed nannies to work the 2025/26 season in Alpe D’Huez, Tignes, Val D’Isere, Les Deux Alpes, Morzine and 3 Valleys. The position is suited to someone who already has accommodation. Qualifications are not necessary, but experience, checkable references and a genuine love of children are a must.

AUSTRIA > Googie’s Babysitting Agency is looking for babysitters to work with ski resort holidaying families in Lech, Oberlech, Zurs and Zug in Austria.

FRANCE > Chilly Powder is urgently looking for an enthusiastic and professional massage therapist for the winter ski season.

FRANCE > A “proper” driving job in the French Alps - just driving, vehicle maintenance and snow clearance for vehicle access, so no split duties cleaning chalets or stacking logs here - is currently offered by Mountain Express. Their package includes a single room in a large apartment in Les Menuires Ski Resort.
⭐️Kids’ Club And Activity Team Members Wanted For Holiday Villages
WORLDWIDE > TAG Live, in partnership with Holiday Villages, is recruiting enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate kids’ club and activity team members for the 2026 season in destinations that could include Turkiye, Egypt, Tunisia, Cyprus, Costa Del Sol, Mallorca, Ibiza, Kos and Rhodes. SPAIN > Employing up to 700 employees during the peak season, Megapark caters mostly to German tourists. They were advertising on Hosco recently for a head chef. Other jobs, including waiters, bartenders, dancers, entertainers, and promoters, are listed on their website, along with information on negotiating the hurdles to working in Spain.

⭐️Sunsail Is Still Recruiting
GREECE & CROATIA > Sunsail’s 2026 roles have been live for a few months now, but their social media is still pumping out pictures of boats and people working on boats in a bid to attract people to their remaining positions in Croatia and Greece.
⭐️Greek Island Sailing, Cruising And Instructing
GREECE & CROATIA > If you are looking for a challenge in 2026, Seafarer is looking for hard working and enthusiastic yacht sailors to help run their flotilla and cabin charter holidays, RYA cruising instructors for their yacht training schools, and RYA dinghy and windsurf instructors for their beach clubs.
Based in the small fishing village of Vliho on the Southern Ionian island of Lefkada, Sail Ionian is currently hiring RYA instructors and skippers.
⭐️Vacancies Near Perth
AUSTRALIA > Supermarket Assistants and a hotel allrounder are wanted near Perth. And by near, we mean over one thousand kilometres to the north of the city for the supermarket job and two and a half hours south east for the allrounder position at the Dumbleyung Tavern.

AUSTRALIA > As preparations begin for Sail Ningaloo’s 2026 season, a range of exciting positions are becoming available starting in February, based in Coral Bay, WA, across a variety of roles.
⭐️Bar/Kitchen Staff For An Island Microbrewery And Cocktail Bar
AUSTRALIA > Kangaroo Island Brewery is looking for some staff. The first micro brewery on Kangaroo Island, near Adelaide, is both a local spot and a tourist attraction. People stop by for a beer and also to check out the hand built brewery made from a love of beer and recycled materials from around the island. They don’t have accommodation, but you are more than welcome to camp on the property.
⭐️Extra Staff Needed In Ras Al Khaimah And Hatta
UAE > Challenging Adventure is recruiting extra outdoor instructors to work six weeks from the beginning of January. The Adventure Centre is also hiring. They have short term contracts on offer from March 23 to May 10 in Hatta.
⭐️Water And Wings
CYPRUS > The Kahuna Surfhouse team in Cyprus is on the lookout for a kitesurfing and wingfoil instructor to join them for the 2026 season, from March to September. Green Bay Watersports & Wake Academy may still be hiring, too.
⭐️Drivethru Surfcamps
DENMARK > Three positions, for a kite instructor, surf instructor, and a volunteer, are currently offered by Drivethru in Hvide Sande. Applicants for the paid positions should speak German and English.
⭐️Lead A Backroads Trip
WORLDWIDE > Applications are now open for the many trip leader and trip prep specialist positions that Backroads need to fill. One of our Facebook group members has in the past suggested this as an amazing way for cyclists to live and learn about a new area of the world while enjoying free accommodation and making a good income. Backroads also lead walking and hiking, and multi activity holidays.

⭐️Outdoor Activity Instructor Apprentices
UK > Begin your career in the outdoor industry on the Thames at Longridge Activity Centre. They offer watersport sessions in kayaking, canoeing, paddleboards, bell boats and dragonboats as well as land activities such as climbing, high ropes, archery and axe throwing. Another place currently offering apprenticeships is Horseshoe Lake Activity Centre. It’s near Sandhurst, apparently. Not that you’d easily know from their website. They are recruiting for other vacancies too, and are holding a recruitment day on January 31.

UK > A full time position for someone looking to start or develop a career in catering and hospitality, gaining hands-on experience in a busy professional kitchen environment, is currently open with JCA at their Condover Hall residential activity centre in Shrewsbury.

HONG KONG > Experienced outdoor instructors who want to live and work next to the beach on Lantau Island are in luck. Treasure Island Hong Kong is hiring for spring 2026.
⭐️Shambhala In Your Heart Festival Volunteers
THAILAND > Shambhala In Your Heart is an annual festival of music, art, and community, held in Chiang Dao, northern Thailand.
