⭐️Chalet Roles In Morzine
FRANCE > Morzine based Treeline Chalets has begun gathering up their winter 24/25 team. Roles include resort managers, chalet cooks and hosts, chalet chefs, drivers and maintenance, and part time housekeepers. Accommodation is available. EU passport or right to work in the EU is preferable, but UK passports will be considered.
⭐️British Passport Holders Welcome To Join Ski Famille
FRANCE > Ski Famille have opened applications to join one of their chalets next winter. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to one of their assessment days beginning June 26 in Hampshire and ending in Cardiff on July 15.
⭐️Take A Magical Trip To Be Father Christmas Or One Of His Special Elves In Lapland
FINLAND > Recruitment is open for Canterbury Travel’s character roles in the Arctic Circle. Applicants for all character roles - Speedy Sam, Noisy Nod, Tricky Dicky, Snowy Bowy and Wendy Wood - are expected to speak in an authentic elf accent and be responsible for intertwining games, songs and dances into magical tours. Other responsibilities include collecting, organising and distributing presents, mini snowmobile supervision and tobogganing.
To apply, you must provide a two minute audition tape as the character you would like to apply for, demonstrating your quirky, high energy personality, excellent improvisational skills and, above all, love of Christmas. You can also be Santa or Mrs Claus or try out for a green elf - an elf without a pre written back story.
Contract dates run between November 14 and January 5. Applicants should be dedicated, hardworking people who understand that working in the Arctic and being away from family during the festive period isn’t always easy. Salary, flights from the UK, food and accommodation and snowsuits and boots are included in the package. Other roles in guest experience and hospitality, or getting stuck in as an Arctic ranger or Arctic star are also available.
⭐️Husky Handling And Dog Sledding Guides
SWEDEN > Explore the North is a family owned company located in Swedish Lapland, working with adventure tourism all year round. The company employs 150 seasonal workers and 30 permanent employees across five lodges in Swedish Lapland, with another opening in December. ⭐️Jobs In Germany For US Passport Holders
GERMANY > Edelweiss Lodge and Resort guests are US service members and their families stationed worldwide. Recently, we spotted their Bar Cuba, a lively sports bar in St. Anton, looking for experienced door staff for the winter 2024/25 season. ⭐️Time To Get Abducted
USA > Poster Invasion’s alien themed recruitment campaign is kicking in. Every year, they send touring teams to over 40 states on a mission to bring students an authentic form of self expression through the medium of posters. Paying a base compensation plus commission, they supply a vehicle and pay housing and travel related expenses to their hustlers, who should be aged 21+ and available for seven weeks.

PORTUGAL > Sense Of Ofir, a watersport boutique hotel in Portugal, has a paid job for someone who loves to cook, surf, kitesurf, or enjoy water sports in general.
⭐️Work And Play On A Coral Cay
AUSTRALIA > Lady Elliot Island is one of only three coral cay resorts on the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. A wide range of job positions are available here and they say they are always eager to hear from enthusiastic people, including backpackers travelling around Australia, who believe they will become valuable team members in their various departments: food and beverage, housekeeping, activities and watersports. They were certainly looking for a chef within the past couple of days.
⭐️Discover Swiss Culture And Habits
SWITZERLAND > Join Synergy Village as a volunteer in Switzerland for up to 12 months. They run a culture centre, guesthouse and events location beside Lake Zurich. Citizens of the EU/Schengen visa zone, aged 20 to 30, can apply for this European Voluntary Service funded project. Find out more.
⭐️The Old Hall
UK > In 1974, a group of families sought like minded people to live together, placing an ad in The Guardian newspaper. Today, Old Hall in Suffolk is still home to some of its original members – including those who have returned with their own children. They welcome volunteers for two week stays from April to October. A range of farm activities make up the volunteering experience, including outdoor activities such as digging, weeding, planting, gathering vegetables and fruit, fencing, haymaking, crop maintenance, etc; and indoor activities such as food processing, cleaning and decorating.
⭐️Big Sky Spa Jobs
USA > Yellowstone Club is a private residential community in Big Sky, Montana, offering its members the world’s only private ski and golf community. Their spa department is currently seeking candidates for winter spa attendants. Applications from foreign nationals on H-2B visas with a minimum of three months spa attendant experience in a luxury resort or private club setting are accepted here. ⭐️Yellowstone Vibes In Sweden
SWEDEN > Join the team of volunteers this summer at the Sun Dance Ranch in Sweden. They want enthusiastic people for the whole of July and August to experience ranch life with them. ⭐️Live In The Grand Canyon National Park
USA > This unique opportunity requires a six month commitment and is open to an individual or a couple (who we’d expect to almost certainly be US nationals). Supporting the ranger, this volunteer position is away from internet and running water, and involves a full working week of 50+ hours patrolling most days by foot or bike. The volunteer lives in a small one room cabin eating single pot meals, free of frying and grease. There is a refrigerator plus dry storage but no freezer. A sun shower and vault toilet, are located nearby.
This lifestyle includes being in uniform ready to meet and greet the public with a smile, and living in conditions that are clean and comfortable but take energy to sustain. The volunteer needs flexibility, ingenuity, the ability to work without direction under changing conditions, and the confidence to act even when they are not quite sure what to do. They need to be comfortable with solitude, periods of heavy vehicle traffic, and self reliant decision making.
⭐️Support Women And Children With Refugee Backgrounds Living In Greece
GREECE > A Swiss NGO called Glocal Roots in Athens is currently looking for some extra hands from July onwards to support women and children with refugee backgrounds living in Greece. They provide a safe space with a chillout area, workshops, a tailorspace and childcare. Only female volunteers are accepted.
⭐️Loggerhead Sea Turtle Project
CAPE VERDE ISLANDS > There are fees here so this one comes under the voluntourism label, but at €50 for admin and then €17 per day for long term volunteers or a €25 per day short term volunteer contribution towards food and accommodation, they are pretty reasonable for this type of project. You could pay this and more for meals and a place to stay in Cape Verde without the satisfaction of helping protect loggerhead sea turtles during their nesting season for two weeks from July 1 to October 15.
⭐️More Sea Turtles
TURKIYE > As with the sea turtle conservation project above, there is a reasonable fee - €200 per month to cover accommodation and food - to volunteer with DEKAMER helping out in their year long effort to help protect loggerhead sea turtles. Located at Dalyan-Iztuzu Beach, volunteers can help with the treatment process of injured turtles, or join them for breeding season to protect nests and collect scientific data. If you are over 18 years old, physically fit and a good team player, visit their website for detailed information.

GREECE & CROATA > Share your sailing expertise and passion for teaching in stunning Mediterranean destinations. Sunsail is looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a commercially endorsed RYA Cruising Instructor certificate. They also recently needed a yacht cleaner at Marina Agana in Croatia.
⭐️Latchi Watersports Is Still Hiring
CYPRUS > Still recruiting for the summer is Latchi Watersports. They are the largest multi activity centre in Cyprus, specialising in yacht charter, watersports, scuba diving, powerboat rentals and RYA training courses. They are looking for experienced individuals to join their team on the shore and in/on the sea for the 2024 summer.
⭐️Bramble Ski Recommended To Swedish Seasonaires
SWITZERLAND, AUSTRIA & FRANCE > Seasonaire Davis Grietens recently suggested Bramble Ski as a good place to find work in the Alps for Swedes. Their HR is Swedish. We’re sure other nationalities - EU ones anyway - stand an equal chance for their chalet host roles.

HUNGARY > PartyBookers Budapest is enticing influencers to dive into the magic of Budapest and share their adventures with the world. Experiences, food, accommodation, event tickets, and partner tickets are the lure. ⭐️Volunteer English Teaching In Cambodia
CAMBODIA > Mr Chhin Salath has posted a short message, some pics, a video and contact information to encourage anyone interested in volunteering as an English teacher in Cambodia to head to Life Bridge International School. ⭐️Peace Boat
WORLDWIDE > Japan’s Peace Boat coordinators recently swung by JAB to tell us about their 119th voyage, which departs from Yokohama, Japan, on December 10, 2024, and returns 96 days later on March 15, 2025. As usual, they’ll be welcoming volunteer English and Spanish teachers to inspire their students to use language to connect with people worldwide. Applications will remain open through August 16.

SERBIA > In Belgrade, young enthusiasts with fluent English - with additional languages a plus - are sought for the position of city host. The advertiser says sociability, confidence, openness and team spirit are prerequisites for this job giving advice about the city to visitors and selling boat tours.
⭐️Western Forces Workamping
USA > RV, van, or skoolie owners can trade ten hours of work for full hookups, moving on to cash money for additional hours working with the family and pet friendly Texas Wine Country Jellystone Park Camp-Resort (private group). Front desk, food service, housekeeping, pool and security are their open positions.
Elsewhere in Western Forces territory, Northern California’s Gualala River Redwood Park is a “magical spot with supportive management. Whomever grabs this chance will have a life changing summer!” says Paula Hayden Baxter, who workamped three summers there. They are hiring for their coffee shop and someone to do night registration.

⭐️Scottish Weather Tolerance Required
UK > Some of the current team at Ananda Animal Sanctuary need to step back so they are desperately looking for more people to help them care for their animals and carry out the day to day sanctuary chores. You just need to be able to commit to a four hour weekly shift, not mind working in the Scottish weather and love and respect animals. If you’re a tradesman or handyman, they always have maintenance work needing done too and can always use extra help on bigger projects.
⭐️Earn Some Rubha Rocks
UK > Also in Scotland, try Rubha Phoil, an ancient rock connected to the shores of the Isle of Skye. They bill themselves as a small regenerative culture community and permaculture project. People are welcome to visit and help out, staying on the Rock short or long term. Food and accommodation are provided at a rate of 50RR (Rubha Rocks) per day, which can be earned through a work exchange here at an exchange rate of about five hours of work and chores per day.
⭐️Tea Making, Bagpipe Music Tolerant, Mythical Creature Wrangling Receptionists Wanted
UK > Hotel Loch Awe want two unusually versatile people working their reception in the Scottish Highlands. Money, accommodation, meals, a great sky for stargazing and all the haggis you can handle are the rewards here.
⭐️Scottish Island Seasonal Farm Work
UK > The Kiwis In London Facebook page is hosting an advertisement for a seasonal farm worker base themselves on the Isle of Islay. Pitched at people looking for work while travelling, previous livestock farming experience is essential. A couple would be considered as there are other departments on the Islay Estate to get involved with: hospitality/housekeeping, office, farming, gardening, and maintenance.
⭐️Festival Touring
UK > Pommarola Pizza Gardens is expanding its festival touring team for the 2024 season, offering work at some of the most exciting festivals like Maverick, Boomtown, 2000 Trees, Greenbelt, Belladrum, All Together Now, Arctangent and Electric Picnic to name a few. They are seeking individuals with a passion for food, a knack for multitasking, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced kitchen setting. Another festival catering option can be had with Kitty’s Kitchen (private group).
⭐️Cats, Dogs And A Donkey
TURKIYE > There is availability for an experienced live in couple/single/two friends to volunteer from July 15 with Olmstead’s HOPE, a rescue with around 15 to 20 cats, village dogs and a donkey.
⭐️Hostel Reception Manager
MEXICO > Hostel Ka'beh Cancún has a position for a volunteer receptionist manager (private group) going spare. They ask for a minimum of 24 hours of work per week in exchange for accommodation, unlimited basic food, and discounts at their bar and restaurant. You can also make extra income by taking additional shifts. They ask for at least three to six months of commitment and are looking for people with good vibes and a good attitude, who like meeting new people, and who can speak a bit of Spanish.
⭐️There’s Still A Chance To Volunteer In Glastonbury
UK > Not at Glastonbury, for the festival beginning June 26. In Glastonbury, or at least nearby the small Wiltshire town described as *reads Wikipedia* having a New Age community and possibly being where New Age beliefs originated at the turn of the twentieth century, and a place notable for myths and legends often related to Glastonbury Tor concerning Joseph of Arimathea, the Holy Grail and King Arthur, and even a visit by Jesus.
Volunteers can park up their vans or pitch a tent, yurt or tipi and join in with the digging, planting, building, lifting, shifting, clearing, cooking, administration or any of the other varied activities of Crops Not Shops and enjoy a meal cooked with produce mostly from their land. They are holding their own festival too, from June 20 to 24. Alchemy of Love is another festival in the area, from July 13 to 17, which welcomes volunteers.
The EarthSpirit Centre is a holistic retreat centre hosting retreats for a wide variety of groups, usually within the fields of bodywork, healing, shamanism, meditation, counselling, tantra and dance. They welcome volunteers on site, in the garden, kitchen and with housekeeping, willing to do a minimum of 25 hours work per week in exchange for their keep. Accommodation will be in either a room or a caravan with vegetarian meals provided. Some live-in paid positions may be available here too.

⭐️Holiday Park Jobs
UK > The Vern Allen Group is doing the entertainment casting for John Fowler Holidays. They have multiple roles available to suit all sorts of abilities, including summer only contracts, which they say are perfect for students, and come with accommodation included and great pay. Other jobs at John Fowler’s St Ives Holiday Park - including pool attendant, shop assistant, restaurant team members and cleaners - are currently listed on their website.
⭐️Harvest Trail Vacancies
AUSTRALIA > 21 vegetable hands an hour out of Perth, 40 melon hands near Mildura, NSW, and an unknown number of potato harvest workers in Tasmania, are among the vacancies currently listed on the Harvest Trail Information Service Facebook page.
⭐️Live In The Middle Of A Forest
UK > How would it support your soul’s evolution to wake up every morning in the middle of a forest hearing bird song, breathing clean air and worrying less about paying bills? asks the EarthHeart Centre, a land based project in the Forest of Dean, just north of Bristol, where they look after four acres of land and various buildings. They have nearly a dozen more questions before they cut to the chase that they want volunteers, prioritising those who would like to stay for six months.
⭐️Volunteering Vanlifers Welcomed In Wales
UK > Teifi Meadows is a small, secluded and intimate campsite in midwest Wales. They welcome like minded volunteers and vanlifers to spend time with them this summer. They have a few jobs they can offer in exchange for a camping/caravan pitch but volunteer spaces are limited and they're not really looking to provide meals at this stage.

UK > Veritas is an education recruitment agency specialising in placing Australian, New Zealand and Canadian primary and secondary school teachers and teaching assistants into schools across London and the UK.
⭐️Rural Apprenticeships
UK > Fancy a job in the great outdoors? Working on Cumbrian nature reserves and community sites you'll get involved with practical conservation work and habitat management; species monitoring; managing volunteers; and engaging with people and communities. Closing date is June 30.
