Not everyone advertises their vacancies in the Jobs Abroad Bulletin, but rather than be sore about it we share vacancies we find in other publications here every month. We have an international readership but please be aware that not every job is open to everyone and official pieces of paper may be required.

⭐️Volunteer In A Fairy Chimney Cave Hotel In Cappadocia
TURKEY > When Brandon Fralic emailed from his cave room in Cappadocia to say he had scored a volunteer position we had mentioned in the Jobs Abroad Bulletin, we told him how the hotel cat gets into his room and, in exchange, he told us more about his job. That was some time ago but we contacted the owner recently, who said that they are interested in having a new volunteer when they open in the spring. More information and contact details are on their website.
⭐️Richmond Or Corfu?

For their overseas concierge positions, there’s no choice but to work in either Lefkada or Paxos and accept the accommodation and car provided as part of this role. If you have the right to work in Greece, visit their website for full details.

On TUI’s Facebook page, Nicole fancied a go in Jamaica but Anton said woah there, you will have to have done a fair few seasons before getting placed somewhere like that. If you do get a job offer you would most likely be placed in a European country first. Anton secured a job as a rep aged 45 and absolutely loved it.

ICELAND > The Iceland Forest Service have already had their time in the midnight sun on our main website through their recent advert for trailteam volunteers, but if you don’t make it as one of their 70 volunteers hired each season application is open until February 20 to Iceland Conservation Volunteers, a programme run by the Environment Agency of Iceland.
This programme is designed for volunteers who want to spend ten weeks in the wilderness, doing projects in several protected areas around Iceland, including the highlands. The placement starts at the beginning of June with a training week programme in footpath maintenance and design, using stones and timber.
While he volunteered some time ago, Wade Shepherd describes his time as “probably one of the best ways I’ve observed to affordably travel through Iceland, access its remote locations without accumulating massive expenses, spend your days outside, actively involved in various projects, living and working with a team of other travelers from around the world.”
Don’t have ten weeks to spare for Iceland’s environment? SEEDS run shorter international workcamps, though a payment towards board and lodging is requested. See www.seeds.is/2023/workcamps for dates in 2023.

⭐️Sailing Croatia Might Be Every Fun Lover’s Dream
CROATIA > But imagine calling it your summer job as well, said an unknown guest writer that once upon a time bunged us a few quid to send some link love juice their way. We agree that it might well be, noting Sailing Croatia is not just every fun lover’s dream, but also a UK based business doing exactly that. They’ve just added a new ship to their fleet and although they hadn’t updated their recruitment pages when we last took a look, will surely need staff for 2023. Positions last year included onboard representatives and active guides to lead hikes and bike rides.

Marin and Natali are running yoga and Adventure retreats from May to September in Rovinj. For 2023, they’ll need three professionals in the form of a photographer/video maker, a vegan chef, and a yoga teacher with marketing skills. Sparse details and a short application form can be found at hosteldalmatia.com.
⭐️Unpaid Positions In Croatia We Found Through Work Exchange Platforms
CROATIA > Updating an old guest post on our blog is the reason we are honing in on Croatia this issue. We added some more traditional exchange of labour for accommodation offerings there but the post isn’t live until the 17th of the month. Pick your faves among these before our blog reading hordes snap them up:
Helping near the most beautiful beach in Zlatni rat, Brač - Efra, a Croatian Bolivian multimedial artist, is starting to work on a new art project near one of the top beaches in Europe. Earn a room in his apartment by helping collect stones for a dry stone wall and clearing the land to make room for sculptures of dragons.
Help with childcare and learn windsurfing from a national champion in Kastela - Instruction from Croatia’s champion windsurfer is among the perks for helping out a mum around her house positioned near Croatia’s Dalmatian coast. A longer term commitment is preferred so two year old Leon doesn’t get used to people just as they are leaving.
Enjoy great island experience helping at a non profit in Losinj Island - Katarina, Sean, and Tinkerbell, the hostel cat, are offering life and work experience in the friendly atmosphere of their hostel. They can also organise free stays with other Croatian hostels as a reward for good volunteering with them.
Come and help our animal shelter for abandoned animals in Cakovec - Get stuck in with all the tasks that need doing when you are helping to protect, care for and finding homes for about 500 abandoned animals.
Be part of our Hostel Team in Korcula - A short walk to idyllic sandy beaches and firm believers in island time and island life, volunteers here can relax and chill out or party between helping out on reception and with cleaning. A dorm bed is offered in return and facilities include a pool.
Tiny house experience in Pula - Returned from his own three year stint travelling, Luka would like some feedback from guests staying in his shipping container tiny home, plus some help with general maintenance, painting, gardening and cleaning. People who are experienced in working with power tools and DIY are always welcome.

⭐️Fry Bundy, Fry
AUSTRALIA > Bundaberg is well known as a working destination for backpackers. In the heart of Queensland's fruit, vegetable and sugar cane farms, we hope it is hot on the Queensland coast right now otherwise our headline doesn’t work so well. And let’s be honest we jotted it down on a beermat and then searched around for anything vaguely relevant to share.
⭐️Ghost Bus Tours In London
UK > Bundaberg is reputed to be one of the most haunted locations in Australia. We couldn’t find anything jobs abroad related there but in London, Ghost Bus Tours are always looking for reliable actors with comedy experience and able to handle basic technical equipment.
⭐️Lifestyle Opportunity
PORTUGAL > An ad in Just Landed is attempting to lure Brits away from the heavy traffic and air pollution in the UK to relocate and live in the Portuguese sun, asking would you like to walk to your local town to enjoy a coffee, beer or a glass of wine and then walk home in the evening feeling perfectly safe? We found the contact phone number belongs to Sonhos Positivos, a residential mobile home site for British expats in the Alentejo region. If you have reasonable handyman, maintenance, DIY and basic gardening skills they are extending an invite to a person, couple or family to join them in maintaining and developing their lifestyle. This could be flexible from maybe a few hours each day in return for free accommodation, allowing you to pursue your own interests/activities to full time paid employment.

Festival volunteers can save the ticket price and receive a pass for the whole event, or over 30 other music festivals this summer, including Glastonbury, Kendal Calling, Carfest, BST Hyde Park, Creamfields, Isle of Wight Festival, and many more. Applications to volunteer for Festaff in 2023 will open Wednesday, Feb 1.

GEORGIA > Dingo Backpackers Hostel has want of volunteers for the 2023 season, from April to November, in several positions, mostly cooking, cleaning or reception.
⭐️Call Centre Agents
TURKEY > We spotted this one on Season Workers. It’s a short one so no need to send you guys off elsewhere to read it should you decide living in Alanya on 2370TL per month is viable. We were very tempted to change the title to Fuck Call Centre Agents as that’s just over £100 per month. Starting January 1, the monthly minimum wage is 8,500TL so perhaps it’s a mistake? Back to the job: applicants should be native English speakers with experience in similar call centre work a plus. And it’s shift work! Oh joy. Red Tape
JAB is thrown together quickly on a shoestring and contains information and advertising that we believe is authentic and currently available. However, we recommend checking things out for yourselves as we could be wrong about everything. We remind our readers that there are many scams on the internet aimed at people looking for work abroad and suggest reading our Warnings, Safety and Spotting Scams pages.
We've changed the format a little, settling on a combination of our JAB Extra and The Working Traveller formats, ditching just simply copying and pasting the ads and hopefully making the newsletter a little easier and more interesting to read. We've also tried, unsucessfully, to make it a little shorter to come in under the email message clipped point. We hope JAB is better this way?
